This steamer is super easy to use straight out of the box. It heats up really quickly and it does get really hot. This steamer is very small, so it will store & travel well. And it is just that...a travel steamer, so it will only steam about 1-2 garments at a time before running out of water & it only runs for about a min or 2 before it automatically shuts off for a min or so. Its an excellent product. I am very pleased with this steamer & I like it so much better then an iron!
